ANOTHER successful light party was held at Harlequinns, Bude, on Monday, October 31.
This annual event, which is a positive alternative to Halloween, was popular again this year with 70 children, aged 0 to 12 years, enjoying the play area, face painting, crafts and apple bobbing.
This was followed by tea and an inspiring chat about Jesus being ‘everyone’s friend, who shines as a bright light in the darkness’, delivered by Deacon Debbie Marsh. Fourteen teenagers came along to bowl, eat chips and chat.
This was a free event, hosted by Bude Mum’s and Toddlers Bible study group, and everyone was welcome.
