THE Fisherman's Friends, the sea shanty singers from Port Isaac, will top the bill at this year's 'Post' Gala, held in aid of the Children's Hospice South West.
Tickets are already selling fast as rumours of the line-up have been circulating.
We are now delighted to confirm the appearance of the Fisherman's Friends, who have seen their popularity go nationwide and beyond in recent years — starting from their regular performances on The Platt in Port Isaac to their appearance at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
The singers have generated quite a following and they are delighted to top the bill at Penstowe, prior to a national tour.
You can be guaranteed a great night at the Gala — all for the price of £6 — as the Fisherman's Friends will amaze you with their harmonies and sea shanties and tales of life by the sea in the fishing village of Port Isaac.
The night will be kicked off by comedian and impressionist Danny Posthill, who has been making people laugh since his first appearance at a school talent show.
The 'Post' Gala, which is now in its 21st year not only offers a great night out, at a superb venue, Penstowe, but it also raises much-needed funds for the Children's Hospice South West.
