AT 9.39pm last night (Sunday, October 10) critical control received multiple calls to a fire in a flat above Lanson Kebab House on Market Street in Launceston.

Crews from Launceston attended and quickly requested additional resources. Appliances from Callington and Liskeard were mobilised as well as special appliances from Newquay, St Just and St Austell.

Crews used breathing apparatus, main jets, and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
