THE Anglican churches in the Deanery of Stratton recently held their very first joint morning service which was attended by 200 people representing many of the local churches.
The service was held in Poundstock Church, and the thanks of the Deanery go to the people and wardens of that church for allowing the event to be held there.
The event was led throughout the day by The Ven Audrey Elkington, Archdeacon of Bodmin, who spoke about God's calling in the modern age, and how we as God's people might be called to join in with God's work here in this beautiful part of North Cornwall.
