MEMBERS of Poughill Methodist Church and friends hold coffee mornings every Tuesday between May and October, to raise money for local charities.

At the evening service on Sunday, November 1 a cheque for £335 was presented by Mrs Claire Blewett to Mr Alan Mill, a trustee of the Stratton Hospital League of Friends.
Mr Mill thanked all those involved and said that since 2007 Poughill Methodist Church had raised £3,620 for the Stratton Hospital Appeal.
