LAUNCESTON'S Ben Jewell opened this match with a good drive up the pitch. Good team tackling regained possession and Toby May scored the first try of the morning.

The Launceston lads defended fiercely and with strong play from Ben Jewell kept the score to 10- 0 at half time.

Luke Couch took the ball the length of the pitch in the opening seconds of the second half, passed and, Ross Gorman passed to Luke enabling him an excellent try - good work both of you!

Sadly Toby May came off injured but the rest of the team continued to ruck and defend fiercely resulting in a good 10-0 victory.
