A PAMPER event was held at the White Hart Hotel in Launceston on Saturday, raising funds for the British Heart Foundation and the Area Resource Base at St Stephens Primary School.
The event was organised by Annie Mitchell, manager of the BHF shop in Launceston.
She invited lots of independent people who trade in beauty and therapy to showcase their services and products to the public.
There were also a couple of demonstrations from McQueens Theatre School and Zumba by Helen Degg.
Pete Warner also bravely volunteered to have his chest, back and legs shaved — all in the name of charity!
It is hoped that in the region of £350 will be raised.
Annie said: “I was happy with how it went and all the stall holders are keen to do something like that again.”
A fashion spectacular will be held at?Launceston Town Hall on September 25 (doors open at 7pm) in aid of the BHF, Square Pegs Studio and McQueens Theatre School.
Tickets can be purchased from the BHF shop, from Annie on 07578 383869 or Rachel on 07758 292978.
