THE CARNIVAL royalty for this year’s Holsworthy Carnival has been chosen by the organisers.
This year’s royalty display will see a slight difference, as in a deviation from tradition, the prince and princess will share a float in the carnival parade.
It has been confirmed that five-year-old Piper Caldecott, a student at Holsworthy Primary School has been designated as this year’s Carnival Princess, while Albie Mark-James Bird, six, who attends Bradworthy Primary Academy will take the honour of being the town’s Carnival Prince. The event will take place on Saturday, November 16.
A spokesperson for Holsworthy Carnival said: “Piper Caldecott will be six years old in October and attends Holsworthy Primary School. She is pictured with her Mum Candace.
