BUDE Sharks Swimming Club held their annual presentation evening at Bude Splash Leisure Pool.
This was a wonderful evening where all swimmers got a chance to enjoy a fun swim, food and drinks and receive their medals and trophies from the Club Championships earlier in the previous month.
During the presentation, Bude Sharks were fortunate enough to have several people to present trophies and awards to various swimmers. Local councillor, Nigel Pearce attended on behalf of Cornwall Council as earlier in the year he was instrumental in securing £200 for the club from the Cornwall Council's Community Chest scheme.
The team were also joined by Len Tozer from Bude Blanchminster Trust, who had kindly covered the costs of some coaching training for a few of the swimmers earlier in the year.
They were also delighted to have the company of top masters swimmer and triathlete Jane Leslie, who recently won three gold medals (1500m, 800m & 400m Freestyle) at the ASA National Age Group Swimming Championships in Sheffield.
