BUDE has been named as one of the UK's best beach destinations.The popular North Cornwall town and seaside resort was highlighted in TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Beach Destinations awards.

Bournemouth took the top spot and was additionally the only UK beach to be included in the European list.
Malcolm Bell, Head of Tourism, Visit Cornwall, commented: "Cornwall is an iconic destination where our fantastic beaches are one, if not the major draw, be that to swim, surf, walk on or dine beside.
"Any visitor will be spoilt for choice with over 300 beaches to visit which would take many years of visits and a lifetime of memories. This latest recognition shows we have real award winning beaches that can stand proud on an international stage."
