A 30-year-old Bude man has appeared in court accused of an offence arising from an alleged stabbing incident at Bude, on the afternoon of Friday, May 30.

Mr Ian Wood, of Bude, appeared before magistrates sitting at Liskeard on Monday.

Mr Wood was accused of Section 18 wounding on the patio of the Carriers Public House, The Strand, Bude.

The magistrates remanded Mr Wood in custody until June 9.
