JOIN the ‘Over and Above Big Brew’ on Friday, February 19, to raise funds for the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at North Devon District Hospital.

People can organise their own event with family and friends at home, in a local community facility or in a local restaurant/café.

Alternatively, take some flasks and hold an event outdoors —weather permitting.

Colleagues can get involved by holding cake sales or coffee mornings at work.

Whatever event is held all money raised for the charity’s SCBU Appeal will help to purchase new neonatal ventilators, incubators, phototherapy devices, breast pumps and other specialist equipment for the Special Care Baby Unit — benefitting the tiniest patients at the hospital.

Fundraiser Julie Whitton said: “At this time of year we need a winter warmer, and our Big Brew is a great way to meet up with friends and raise funds for the Special Care Baby Unit at the same time. And if the date doesn’t suit, you can put on your own Big Brew on a more convenient date.”
