AFTER a two-year restoration project, the bells at St Julitta’s Church, Lanteglos, are now back where they should be and fully restored.

The first test ringing of the bells was held on Friday, December 17, with a mixed group of enthusiastic bell ringers.

The test was successful with nothing falling off and many comments about the improved sound and ease of ringing.

The bells were heard again at 8pm just before the Christmas Eve service.
