THE children from Shebbear’s Kindergarten had a very important job to do on their recent visit to RHS Garden Rosemoor.

In order to get her wings, Rosie the garden fairy needed a variety of items collected from the gardens. So, armed with buckets and lists they set off.

Something spiky, pretty, the beginning sound of their name, a feather and something thicker than their thumb were just a few of the necessary items.

Once back in the classroom, crowns and wands were made, with which Rosie, and John the education officer, were very pleased.

After lunch there was still time to play in the ‘Brash’ before returning to school with their creations.
