TWO people were rescued after becoming ‘medically trapped’ following a road traffic collision.
The incident occurred during the afternoon of June 13 in the Bradworthy area.
Fire crews from Holsworthy and Hartland Community Fire Stations attended the scene.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two fire engines were mobilised to an RTC involving two vehicles with persons medically trapped.
“On arrival crews gave casualty care to two persons. After assessment by a paramedic, crews created space in order to assist both casualties to self extricate and handover to the ambulance service.
“Fire crews helped Devon and Cornwall Police with making the vehicle and scene safe, in order to reopen the road and leave the vehicles ready for recovery.”
