POLICE are currently investigating a serious collision involving a motorbike which occurred on Tuesday, September 17.
The incident happened on the B3417 at Lee Moor at around 7.10pm.
The rider, a 49-year-old man from Launceston, had been travelling in the Plympton direction when the bike lost control on the right hand bend. He was taken to Derriford Hospital where he remains in a critical condition. The weather was warm, dry and sunny.
The road was closed for a total of six hours whilst officers from the serious collision unit carried out an investigation of the scene.
