A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision near Tintagel on Tuesday, May 5.
“Officers were called at around 1.10pm to the B3263 at Tregatta, where a collision had occurred involving a black Renault Megane and a black Honda motorbike.
“The bike rider sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
“The Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience, whilst the road remained closed for collision investigation duties to be carried out.
“Anyone who witnessed the collision on please contact police online or by calling 101 or via our website quoting log 325 of 5/5/26.”
