LAUNCESTON'S under 8s have started this season in the same rich vein of form that they showed last time out.

Having won their first four opening games against Falmouth, St Austell, Wadebridge and Hayle, they travelled to Bude on Sunday.

Both of the Launceston teams consisted of six players a side and they played two 20 minute games against Bude's under 8s.

Played in warm November sunshine, both Launceston teams dominated play from the start and played free flowing rugby, backed up by excellent tagging and defending — even on the heavy pitch.

They kept on turning over the ball time and time again, and were clinical in attack with nearly every player getting on the score sheet.
