Bude Bridge Club monthly report and latest news for August

Monthly report

AUGUST was another quiet month for competitions but good numbers were maintained during the afternoon and evening sessions.

Friday numbers are on the up, with only one Friday with no bridge.

Over 20 pairs have made it to the honours list, appearing in the weekly report, showing a good variety of results.

There are three pairs who stand out, appearing in the top three four times each: Ann and Bob Bennett, Sarah and Neil Trenaman and Alan Merchant-White and Steve Trenner.

This month sees the club move back in the larger room in the main building of Parkhouse Centre, with plenty of room for newcomers and visitors. Everyone is welcome.
