LAUNCESTON Tae Kwon-Do held their colour belt grading on Saturday, September 1, with ten students participating.

A fantastic standard was achieved by all, with Lowenna Barnes, Leland Hardy and John Titley being awarded A passes. The Grading Trophy was achieved by Leland Hardy.

Grand Master Michael Dew, a ninth degree black belt and vice-chairman of the Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain, officiated.

The students who graded were Lowenna Barnes (A pass), John Titley (A pass), Shelley Greenaway, Leland Hardy (A pass and Grading Trophy), Minnie Cartwright, Joseph Conway, Mathilda Matthews, Darren Cartwright, Emma Fraser and Kaitlyn Garrod.

Thanks were given to the black belts of the club who gave up their Saturday morning to help out. Delicious refreshments were provided by Helen Naylor, assisted by Lucy Hunt, all proceeds of which were donated to club funds.
