LAUNCESTON Road Runners' longest serving member, 69-year-old Jim Baker (above) was the oldest participant to take on the Survival of the Fittest challenge at Battersea Park, London (the final event of a series of races, held at Cardiff, Nottingham, Edinburgh and Manchester), alongside approximately 12,000 other entrants last month.

The event, a six mile run incorporating 97 obstacles, is organised by Rat Race and sponsored by Men's Health magazine.
