HOLSWORTHY Community College student Myles Jones got the opportunity to witness a historic night for English football in February, thanks to Community Action Through Sport (CATS).

Tickets to see England take on Brazil in London, provided by the Devon FA, were presented to Myles at the recent CATS awards, where his efforts in helping youngsters get involved with football were recognised by the organisation.

He was nominated for the award by Mr Robbie Hollands and other parents of Halwill Primary School for taking the time to coach their pupils and referee school matches.

"I have been doing this for three years and thoroughly enjoy this weekly activity," Myles said. "I won the award due to my dedication and commitment to the children. It was an unforgettable feeling to receive such an award."
