BOSCASTLE and Crackington Gig Club's AGM, held recently at Boscastle Farm Shop, provided members with the prospect of great success in the future, after a buoyant year for the group.

Club chairman Jim Connelly-Webster delivered a comprehensive report of activities which had taken place over the last twelve months.

He was delighted to announce that membership has almost doubled, and that the commitment shown to training and fitness was now at unprecedented levels.

Jim went on to share his vision for the club; that members become serious contenders for top places at the World Pilot Gig Championships and the circuit of regattas around Devon and Cornwall that they regularly attend.
