FOUR Upper Tamar Lake Sailing Club Members have recently undertaken a two day course to gain the necessary qualification for them to cover safety boat duties at the lake for the Sailing Club.

Mandy Pollard, club secretary, said: "Well done to Brian Pollard, Sue Murray, John Weller and Alan (Toby) Tobias (pictured from left to right).

"The Club would like to thank Phil Timings from South West Lakes Trust for running the course and Matt Lennox also from South West Lakes Trust who assisted.

"The Club would also like to thank the Langsford Solar Farm Grant panel for awarding them the necessary funds to make the course possible."
