LAUNCESTON Rugby Club president, Richard Dennis (second left) was presented with the club’s RFU accreditation by representatives from the Cornwall RFU at last Saturday’s Tribute South West One (West) game against Newent at Polson Bridge.

The accreditation means that there will be opportunities for the club to receive RFU funding for items such as pitch maintenance and lighting.

Committee member, John Tharme, said: "As a club we are pleased that we have achieved the accreditation after the concerted effort this season. It will allow the club to move forward in various improvements."
