LAUNCESTON RFC’s U11s travelled to Bournemouth recently to take part in the Bournemouth Rugby Tournament and came home with the winners trophy — not losing a game all day and becoming champions after a thrilling final.

They played with true Cornish spirit and determination all day demonstrating how teamwork really pays off.

The Launceston U11s team was made up of Ben Bryant (Capt.), James and Oliver Maciver-Redwood, Ben Leach, Henry Tucker, Oliver Ridley, Keith Maynard, Daniel Howgill, Jamie Chapman, Maeve Turley, Thomas Barriball, Samson Trice and Harry Giles-Wilson.

Thanks were expressed to the U11s coaches Mike Howgill, Andy Maciver-Redwood and Ian Boundy for all their hard work, and a big congratulations to all the players.
