BUDE Seconds end their Counties Cornwall Three campaign tomorrow with a tough test against St Just tomorrow at Bencoolen Meadow (2.30pm).

Bude, who were defeated in the quarter-finals of the Duchy Cup last week against Launceston Castles but go into the Shield semi-finals on April 8, have had a tough first campaign in league rugby with just three wins to their name, two of which came against whipping boys Redruth Albany.

With the first team having finished their Counties One Western West season and having the weekend off before they take on Avonmouth Old Boys in the first round of the Counties One South Shield in the newly-created Papa John’s Community Cup, Bude's side has a usual feel to it.

The only first teamers are Chris Allin who starts at prop, and winger Jack Horwell who will come off the bench.

They are able to name a squad of 21 for a game against a St Just side that make the long trip up knowing that a five-point victory will see them edge out Camborne Seconds to the runners-up slot.

The rest of the sides have finished their league season.
