LAUNCESTON youngster Chloe Dawe has been selected in the South West Under 15 girls' squad for four upcoming fixtures.

Chloe, 15, who attends Launceston College, is registered with the Cornish All Blacks, but is currently on loan at Tavistock.

She has also been representing her age group at county level for the previous two seasons, and is now considered ready to make the step up to regional standard.

She will be involved in four matches, all to be played in Birmingham commencing March 16, before attending a summer camp being held in Wolverhampton later in the year.

Chloe's achievement is made all the more impressive when factoring in the size of the region; players selected from Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset and even Berkshire are all eligible to represent the South West squad.

She was unfortunate not to make the squad in 2013, when she didn't get past a trial stage, but a year on, with the support of her family and coaches, Chloe has achieved her goal.
