BUDE RATS took a strong group of runners to this year's annual local 10k off-road race, the 'Mouth to Mouth'.

The run starts and finishes at Sandymouth Bay near Bude, with the route taking in both the steep climbs at Northcott Mouth and Coombe-Duckpool — a picturesque, but extremely challenging race.

The event is one of the many organised nationally by the National Trust and marshalled by local volunteers, with runners coming from all over Cornwall and Devon.
