BUDE Tae Kwon Do students Jenna Moran and Keith Merrifield are happy to hear that they have been successfully promoted to First Dan Black Belts, after four years of dedicated training, and are the first students at Bude TAGB Club to have made the journey from white belt to black.

'It is a journey,' Instructor Mr Guy Southard explains, 'definitely not a race- I can't say I am surprised by the result, because they are both very good students, but I am very pleased for them and looking forward to showing them that Black Belt is not the end of the journey. Tae Kwon Do is a lifetime's work, there's always something new to learn. All of the class are proud of them.'
