THE Holsworthy and District League recently held their annual finals night and presentation of trophies.

In the top league, again played with old rules, Magpie RBL A won the title by six points from Hols Social A, while final day wins for Orchard Inn C and Eastcott Arms A helped them avoid relegation at the expense of Bradworthy A.

An incredibly close Division Two eventually went the way of Golden Fleece B by just three points from Stumble Inn B, who they beat 4-1 on the final night.

A thrilling conclusion to the third-tier saw league debutants Bradworthy B claim a 4-1 success on the final day to take the title on points, while Clovelly B sneaked the runners-up spot from Village Inn A on matches won.
