IT HAS been a successful year for field archer Trevor Walter from Sutcombe.
Trevor (right) has won both the NFAS (National Field Archery Society) National & 3D Championships in the Men’s Bowhunter class.
He also won the EFAA (English Field Archery Association) Indoor Championships in his class and was awarded the Kent Cup for the best archer shooting without sights.
Trevor also represented England in the European Bowhunter Championships held in Austria in June, where he came second in his class, narrowly missing out on the gold medal.
He was also part of the England Bowhunter team which came third at the same event.
Trevor hopes to continue his success next year both nationally and internationally when he competes in the European Field Archery Championships in Germany and The World Bowhunter Championships in Italy.
