ANOTHER successful session for youngsters from the area was hosted by the Bude Surf Outreach Group (BSOG) recently. The weather was near perfect; warm and sunny, with only a slight breeze on the beach. The tide was at its low point, the other side of the breakwater, and the surf was small but dumping on the shorebreak and fairly fast. Seven youngsters attended and all entered the water, with five enjoying the experience of riding a wave. Some enjoyed themselves so much in fact, that they didn't want to get out! It was a very successful day, in keeping with those held in previous years. For the full report, and a round up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.

VOLUNTEERS help one of the youngsters enjoy the surf.
