2013 saw a great many special moments for teams and individuals across the Post area. This week, we look back at some of those achievements and highlight the exceptional talents at the region's disposal. Here's wishing all readers another successful year in 2014.

A GREAT number of participants attended Bude's annual Easter Monday Fun Run once again this year, with pleasant sunshine and a cool breeze providing decent conditions for the respective 1k and 5k competitions. Peter La Broy of sponsors Bude Sports was thanked for his contributions as MC, race starter, runner and presenter of trophies.

The efforts of Peter's wife Clare, alongside the event marshalls and crew, were also acknowledged by all taking part. A fantastic £494.92 was raised for the charities supported by the event.
