A YOUNG Launceston rugby player has made the jump to county standard, having been selected to join his age group's Cornwall squad. Tom Sandercock, who play his rugby for the Launceston Lions — the All Blacks' under 16s side — impressed sufficiently enough to progress from two sets of trials held in Truro along with around 40 others from the 150 or so that were originally entered.
