THE Launceston Area Primary Schools Cross Country competition took place on Monday, March 23, at Warbstow School.

Taking part were Altarnun, Lewannick, St Stephens, St Catherines, Warbstow and Boyton.

First place in Year 3-4 Boys went to Altarnun, Year 3-4 Girls was won by Lewannick, Year 5-6 Boys was won by St Catherine's and Year 5-6 Girls was won by Lewannick.

Rae Lill, Warbstow school secretary, said: "Congratulations to everyone who took part — As usual it was a hard fought race."
