LAUNCESTON & North Cornwall Motor Club recently held its annual Northgate Sporting Car Trial at Ashleigh Farm, Lifton.

The event is part of the ASWMC Sporting Trials Championship and attracted 13 entrants, some coming from many miles to compete.

With the previous good weather conditions were dry, and the club worked hard to make it a challenging course.

At the end of what was a lovely sunny day, the scores were announced with Alan Baker from Gloucester being declared the overall winner.

The club expressed its thanks to land owner Paul Webber for use of the site.
