THE annual Eileen Daniels Early Birds Competition and Captains Drive In was held on Saturday March 31.

The competition has been running for 17 years and it has gone from strength to strength. It was started by Bill Daniels in memory of his late wife Eileen and has been generously sponsored ever since. It is always a popular competition, despite the shot-gun start at 7am with 72 players entering.

As tradition with this event a Full English Breakfast was served and enjoyed by everyone after the golf.
