STUDENTS from Duchy College Stoke Climsland have just returned from a life changing, action packed trip to Manchester on their annual sports tour.
Twenty-five students studying a variety of sport courses at the college have spent five days in Manchester with a full itinerary, which included a tour of the National Cycling Centre, involving a lesson on the velodrome and BMX track. The group were able to catch the GB Track Team in training.
The students also had a Manchester United stadium tour, which was a great place to witness the success of Sir Alex Ferguson's managerial repertoire of trophies. Following this they were lucky enough to watch Manchester United defeat Southampton 2-1.
Lecturer Ryan Lucas said: "It was a brilliant live football match featuring some of the world's very best football stars. The students, and staff, had a great time."
