IT was a game of missed chances when Bude played Charlestown away on Sunday in a South West League fixture.
Sarah Badham was lively up front and created many chances in the first ten minutes. Her driving run resulted in her being brought down for an early penalty, but she shot it narrowly wide.
In very heavy conditions, Lyndsey Ubly and Del Reah worked tirelessly in a very boggy centre to control the ball and this paid off when after several further attacks, Tegan Nichols pounced on a spilled ball to give Bude the lead.
Leanne Stanbury was outstanding at centre back and any break was halted by her.
A mix up resulted in Charlestown equalising, the ball trickling through the 'keeper's legs and over the line into the empty goal.
