ON SUNDAY, May 7, 54 children from Launceston and the surrounding areas travelled to Totnes to take part in the Tornadoes Friendly Trampoline Competition, where they won a staggering 34 medals.

The competition, which attracted over 250 entries, was held for ‘novice’ competitors, along with categories for the more experienced trampolinists.

The medal count for Dodds and her trampolinists came to a grand total of 34! This amazing total was made up of 14 golds, nine silvers and ten bronze medals. The youngest competitor of just four years, Mason Parker-Groves, won a Silver in his very first competition.

The Synchro part of the event was a very popular element with pairs of children trying their hardest to stay together, which is no mean feat when you are up in the air! The double act of the two Madi’s – Madison Vine and Madison Jones, who are also training partners, won the coveted gold in the regional category.
