Promotion hopefuls Launceston Ladies head to Camborne on Sunday (2pm) looking to continue their unbeaten start to the Women’s NC 2 South West (West) campaign.

Launceston have enjoyed a superb campaign so far, winning all three league games and have advanced into the third round of the Women’s Junior Cup following victories over Sidmouth and Swanage and Wareham.

Launceston have racked up 112 points without conceding against Bude, Bideford and Totnes while Camborne will look to bounce back from their 80-0 thrashing at leaders Exeter Athletic Dakota.

Camborne beat Bideford 45-10 in their opener before going down narrowly at Totnes (31-28).

Bude will fancy their chances of ending their winless start when they head to Withycombe tomorrow (2.30pm) for a rare Saturday game.

Bude were well beaten by Exeter Athletic and Launceston but improved markedly against Bideford last time out, losing by just six points in an 18-12 reversal.

They travel with just 16 players due to several injuries but Withycombe have played twice and lost both.

They were defeated 39-31 at home to Totnes back in September before being thrashed 109-0 by  freeflowing Exeter Athletic Dakota.
