Table Tennis
WITH the new season just three weeks old, it is last season’s top two, Budehaven A and Blisland, who are making the running in Division One.
For the first time in living memory, the League now has three divisions, with many new players. Budehaven’s B and C teams lead Divison Two and Three, respectively, but there’s a long way to go.
Dave Salisbury, NCTTA match secretary, said: “It is great to see table tennis again flourishing in North Cornwall, and Budehaven has established regular sessions every Thursday in the main school Sports Hall, from 7pm onwards.
“Everyone is welcome to come along and have a go — just £3 per session (£1.50 for juniors) — just turn up, pay and play. All standards are catered for.”
