THE outgoing Ladies' Captain June Downes of Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club was delighted to present Paul Tilzey, Chairman of the Friends of Bude Sea Pool with a cheque for £687 at the Ladies Section Annual General Meeting on February 20.

The Sea Pool was June's chosen charity for her year as Ladies' Captain. Some of the funds had been received by the Sea Pool during the year from various events including a successful Cheese & Nibbles Quiz Night, the Golf Club Charity Day and a sponsored swim by one of the members making a grand total of £877.
