BUDE Ladies FC have secured themselves a place in the semi-final of the Cornwall County Cup after a deserved win against high flying Truro City.
Playing away at Treyew Road, Bude took the pressure of the first half against the strong wind, but ably absorbed it, with defenders Leanne Stanbury, Leona Marsh and Reanne Westlake in fine form and keeper Lisa Cornish making some great decisions.
The difficult conditions frustrated Bude as they like to play pretty football, but they adapted and defended well through communication.
