LAUNCESTON have made two changes from the side that won at St Austell last weekend for tomorrow’s Regional One South West home clash with fellow high-flyers Barnstaple (3pm).

Both sides have five wins to their name from six so far, with the Cornishmen a point ahead.

However it’s at Polson where the hosts have struggled somewhat.

Their opener saw them eventually beat Lydney 36-26 courtesy of a number of driving mauls, before going down to a shock 20-15 defeat to Okehampton three weeks ago.

However on their travels they have been superb, racking up victories at Ivybridge, Weston-super-Mare, Matson and St Austell.

That said, they have yet to play any of the sides expected to be in the top five, so Saturday will be the acid test against a team that were relegated last term.

Launceston joint head coaches Ian Goldsmith and Ryan Westren are forced into two changes from last week.

Prop Charlie Short is out having come off injured after ten minutes at Tregorrick Park, while flanker Charlie Tummon is back at university.

In come Mitch Hawken to the front row while there is a debut for lock Albert Horne.

The Exeter University student scored a hat-trick on debut for the seconds last Saturday, and is now straight into the team.

Leion Cole is back amongst the replacements having served a five-match ban for his opening day red card at Ivybridge.
