WITH help from Ashley Harris, the disability development officer of the Devon FA, formed the walking football team the ‘Holsworthy Hasbeens’, together with founder members of the ‘Bridgerule 49ers’ held their first tournament against the ‘Morwenstow Minions’ at Holsworthy Leisure Centre on Sunday, June 9.

After a shy start, the wives of the ‘Hasbeenetts’ cheered every goal their team made.

After two hours of goals galore and fun, with Morwenstow coming out the winners, everybody had a great time.
