HOLSWORTHY'S Ross Daniel has recently been accepted as a fully elected member of the Professional Golfers Association, after attaining a degree in Professional Golf through Birmingham University.

Born in Pyworthy, Ross attended Pyworthy Primary School, before going on to Holsworthy Community College and then Duchy College Golf Academy where his love for golf really began to emerge as a possible career path.

After achieving a diploma in golf from Duchy College over two years, Ross went onto complete a long-distance degree through Birmingham University.

Ross turned professional when he was 18 and now 24, he is currently working as a teaching professional at the Royal North Devon Golf Club where he teaches an array of golfers from juniors to adults.
