CHILDREN'S charity CHICKS held its annual golf day at Trethorne Golf Club on Friday, June 21. A total of 23 teams enjoyed a full day of playing and hospitality at the picturesque course, and congratulations went to winners Duncan Croad from The Retreat, Canine Hydrotherapy and team members Will Kirton, Steve Lamb and Jon Hunt. The event raised £7,921 which will go towards funding the free respite breaks CHICKS provides for disadvantaged children at their retreats in Brentor and Tywardreath.
