Greensome — Tuesday, March 26

THE Seniors played a greensome last Tuesday.

This is a format where each player in a pair hits a tee shot, they then pick the best and play alternate shots until the hole is completed.

Winners: Jon Skyrme and Dave Allan — 39pts; Runners-up: Stuart Phillpotts and David Jackson — 39pts; 3rd: Richard Garvin and John Mullins — 38pts; 4th: John Rumbold and Gavin Torbett — 38pts

As both players get the chance to hit at the par threes, it was no surprise that there were 15 twos recorded. The captain’s charity nearest the pin prize was won by Graham Nevitte.
